13:55 Lingfield Pocketfullofdreams has shown plenty of promise in her four races to date and probably arrives here as the one to beat, trained by the all conquering Aidan O’Brien there is every chance she will shed her maiden tag here and she deserves the utmost respect. Camerone showed plenty of promise when fourth on her debut at Sandown and duly won the next time at Brighton, today’s extra yardage looks sure to suit her. The rest have something to find but a chance will be taken on The Sky Is Blazing who created a most favourable impression when hacking up on debut at Newcastle. The Sky Is Blazing (WIN)

14:15 Ascot Roger Varian trained last seasons winner of this and has a similar type with Appeared this time around, still relatively unexposed and from a good family she will have to improve on what she has done to date but she handles this ground and has gone well after a break before. Lord George has the best form and will surely have some say, conceding weight all round looks a tough task however. Mohatem looked fairly useful last time and warrants respect up in class, along with William Hunter an argument can be made but Appeared is given the nod. Appeared (WIN)

14:30 Lingfield Likely favourite Sir John Lavery showed plenty of ability when third on debut at the Curragh and rather demolished his opposition when sent to Gowran Park the time after. Beautifully bred and with the promise of much more to come this term he is could turn out to be a serious derby player and he simply cannot be opposed today. Tartini caused an upset when winning on debut and backed that effort up with a good fourth at Epsom last time, the form of that race is beginning to work out and he looks the main danger to the selection. Sir John Lavery (WIN)

14:50 Ascot UAE Prince appeals as the most unexposed of this bunch and arrives here after a confidence boosting victory at Ripon last time, proven on the ground and with no concerns over the trip he can be excused his one bad run at Doncaster last season as he was struck over the head by a rivals whip. Wild Hacked wont lack for fitness and was a game winner last time, he is respected along with Baydar who was ultra progressive last term but there is a lot to like about UAE Prince and he can follow up. UAE Prince (WIN) – NAP

15:10 Haydock Peace And Co has never looked the same horse since suffering a heavy defeat at Cheltenham in December 2015, extremely useful on his day he would hammer these if recapturing his best but there are significant risks and he can only be watched. Court Minstrel is one of two runners for Evan Williams and he looks to be on a decent mark now, best suited by the forecast good ground he appeals as an each way player and his recent tenth at Cheltenham was a fairly decent effort all things considered. John Constable is the other Williams runner and he looks to have chances, as do the likes of Zubayr and Mohaayed. Court Minstrel (E/W)

15:25 Ascot Only one three year old has scored in the last ten running’s of this so despite Tisbutadream and Raven’s Pass looking the likeliest improvers they both appear up against it. Aristocratic looks the stereo-typical Stoute slow burner and she looks likely to be suited by the mile trip today, a fair second over seven furlongs at Salisbury the last day ought to have blown away the cobwebs and she is taken to land this. Singyoursong and Tegara deserve a mention as does Permission who wants watching in the betting. Aristocratic (WIN)

15:40 Lingfield French filly Qemah is already proven at the highest level and though today’s trip may be a little short of her optimum, defeat is almost unthinkable. Impressive last term when winning the Coronation Stakes at Ascot and the Prix Rothschild at Deauville she was perhaps a little unlucky as to the way things panned out when third at Leopardstown, still it was a high class effort and a reproduction of any of them runs ought to be good enough to take this. Mix And Mingle looks the one most likely to take advantage should the favourite flop, though like the rest that is surely the best hope. Qemah (WIN)

16:00 Ascot The last four winners of this have all returned at double figure odds and three of them were drawn in stalls upwards of twenty, despite the recent number trends the only certainty appears to be that plenty of luck will be required. Bossy Guest is hard to predict and often blows his chances at the start, tardily away at Newbury last time he was fairly rattling home come the finish and did well to finish fifth considering he also met trouble in the run. Fastnet Tempest finished in front of a few of these in the same race that Bossy Guest ran in at Newbury, he has plenty of room for improvement and surely has one of these in him. Withernsea, Donncha, Heaven’s Guest and George Williams are a few selected names with chances but the enigmatic Bossy Guest is taken to make use of his high draw and nail them late in the day.
