The green and yellow silks of owner Raymond Anderson Green often go well at this meeting and as such Gold Des Bois could be a potential each way outsider worth keeping an eye on.

Likely favourite Sebastopol and fellow course victor Dubai Days demand a tonne of respect and look likely to make the frame however I’m going to forgive MALYSTIC’s recent performance and based on his previous efforts, he’s lightly raced and has more room to progress than his rivals.

MALYSTIC (E/W)

As the only course victor in the lineup PUNCTUATION deserves a tonne of respect, especially after his back to back victories. This looks his toughest test to date but he’s on an upward trajectory that looks hard to stop, especially as the yard bagged a few winners at the course yesterday.

Frere D’Armes will appreciate a drop back in class and can do much better than he did in graded company last time out.

PUNCTUATION (WIN)

13:50 Ayr

DUSART is the clear favourite and can be forgiven his performance in the Grade 1 Brown Advisory. Now back to handicap company he has enough class to claim success here.

Sounds Russian aims to make it four victories in a row and shouldn’t be far away and The Golden Rebel and Lord Accord look likely to be the best of the rest.

DUSART (WIN)

14:10 Newbury

Bermeo may appreciate a change of trainer and now with Harry Fry looks to produce a better effort.

First Figaro may have won his last two starts but this looks a marked step up in class and may struggle at this level.

Indy Five is the sole course and distance winner in the field but after his most recent victory may be in the grasps of the handicapper.

La Cavsa Nostra should finish in the money but looks a tad too short in the betting but be mindful if the money continues to come.

Two at bigger odds that could go close are GLEN FORSA who disappointed in a Grade 3 but now back in handicap company should do far better and PSYCHEDELIC ROCK who is now 10lbs below his last winning mark and is weighted to go well.

14:25 Ayr

Onemorefortheroad wasn’t far away in the Imperial Cup and West Cork was equally as close at the Cheltenham Festival and both look likely to finish even closer here.

Barichello looks an interesting type who’s won four of his last five starts and if he can improve further shouldn’t be ignored.

ANNA BUNINA finished as runner up behind Milkwood in the Scottish Champion Hurdle and I reckon he can reverse the placings this afternoon. Not the most likely winner but punters looking for an each way play should look no further.

ANNA BUNINA (E/W)

14:45 Newbury

Course and distance winner SPEECH BUBBLE has fantastic form behind Cheltenham Festival victor Love Envoi and a race of this nature should well be within his grasps.

The unbeaten Corey’s Courage has done very little wrong in his career to date but needs to make another step up to compete at this level.

Nextdoortoalice and Holly Hartingo have been consistent all season and may sneak a place and the Dan Skelton trained duo of Runwiththetide and the lightly raced Gentle Connections have shown promise.

SPEECH BUBBLE (WIN)

15:00 Ayr

Trainer Donald McCain has his horses flying at the moment and is currently operating at a 33% strike rate. He sends out MINELLA DRAMA who will appreciate this weaker contest compared to his most recent opposition.

Do Your Job is a very consistent type and can trouble the current favourite and considering his connections Il Ridoto could do better than expected.

MINELLA DRAMA (WIN) written by Rory Paddock
