An Tailliur is on a roll. Winner of his last four starts, he’s going to start a short price favourite in this. The current going is good/firm but there is rain forecast so it will be interesting to see if it changes the ground. This horse has gone up in the weights and also steps up in trip, so there are reasons to believe he may be opposable.
There are a few opponents to the favourite but the majority are wearing headgear and may not be the most reliable.
The selection Khan looks the most straight forward option in the race.
He was a decent winner at Huntingdon two weeks ago, staying on well over three miles and a furlong. He’s only gone up four pounds for that victory. We know he stays well and won’t mind if the rain gets in. If he’s in the same mood, he could follow up and provide a little value.

Pens Mans has won his two chase starts to date. It would be fair to say he hasn’t been massively impressive in beating some moderate rivals. It’s also interesting that connections have reached for cheek pieces which would indicate they’re not convinced with his application. At the likely prices he’s opposable.
Caspers Court is a winner at the track. He’s a little inconsistent but does have bits of form that would give him a chance if straight enough.
Troed Y Melin gets a tentative vote. He’s a course and distance winner who will be fine if the ground stays on the fast side. He had a run here twelve days ago and was well beaten. That would have blown away the cobwebs and although he’d ideally want a bit further, he’s certainly well enough weighted to go close.
