TUESDAY JUMPS RACING TIPS

15:10 Sedgefield

Brother Pat will be favourite here. He has chasing experience and winning form over the larger obstacles. However I think he’s worth taking on today.

The Darley Lama is an interesting recruit to chasing. This seven year old remains a maiden after fifteen attempts under rules, but has started favourite in four of his last five starts so he must show plenty of ability at home.

Give Us A Swig is the choice. He has shown signs of ability in his hurdle starts to date including a comfortable victory at Worcester. He has some size and scope and with a point to point victory under his belt, chasing could be his forte.

Speredek would carry all of these around here and win hard held if he could reproduce anything like his 150 plus rated chasing days, but sadly he looks like his early exuberant days have taken their toll. He is likely to be in the shake up, but is passed over for win purposes.

Spantik won on the flat recently and could run well here, but may be better over a little further.

Sergeant is the selection. He looks well handicapped after bolting up at Newton Abbot on his penultimate start. A follow up looked a formality next time out, but things didn’t go to plan after tipping up and the first flight. If none the worse for that experience, he looks a confident option
