THURSDAY RACING TIPS

14:00 Huntingdon

Hunny Moon won well on her first attempt over this trip, in control of the race coming over the last and staying on right to the line. She’s unexposed over fences and is again partnered with top jockey Paddy Brennan so looks to hold an excellent chance of following up having been raised just 3lbs.

In addition to Hunny Moon, trainer Fergal O’Brien also runs Timeless Beauty who would have to be considered on the back of two solid placed efforts at Cheltenham and Southwell over the winter, although she does need to bounce back from a poor performance last time out.

Whatsdastory and Eleanor Bob both arrive here on the back of victories last time out and although both have extra weight to carry this time around could remain competitive.

HUNNY MOON (WIN)

15:10 Huntingdon

Only five scheduled to go to post but nevertheless this looks a competitive race. Elle Est Belle sets the form standard having won a Listed contest at Newbury in November by almost nine lengths, staying on strongly and winning by an ever- increasing margin at the line, This sees her first foray over this longer trip but she also raced well when outpaced in a Grade 2 race last time out so the step up should suit.

Gentleman At Arms is a prior course and distance winner and although what looked to be his main challenger came to grief three from the finish he proved that was no fluke with a decent second in a Grade 2 race at Warwick last month. With stamina assured he looks capable of getting involved, although may prefer slightly slower conditions to be seen at his absolute best.

The Alan King trained Harbour Lake is thus far unbeaten in two, winning twice at Wetherby over two-mile trips in convincing fashion, showing strength and stamina in the finish and beating a couple of subsequent winners in the process. He looks capable of taking on the step up in trip, although the recent stable form would have to be a concern.

Wonderwall takes a marked step up in class but won well at Doncaster over a slightly further trip when last seen so is also capable of getting involved.
