THURSDAY RACING TIPS

16:58 Warwick

Attacca is one of two competitors in this race for Nicky Henderson. The mount of James Bowen represents the same connections as champion chaser Altior, in Mrs Patricia Pugh. He’s by Mahler and a half-brother to the smart Hear No Evil. The breeding suggests that he may well need a lot further in time and could well find today a tad fast.

Ginny’s Destiny is Tom Lacey’s charge and is rather well bred. He’s by high class stayer and equally as good stud performer, Yeats and is a half-brother to Grade One scorer, God’s Own. He has racecourse experience already, placing second to Harry Fry’s well fancied Altobelli. He’s well fancied and currently heads the market. The only concern that shows up is that he has to carry a slight penalty for his experience.

Nicky Henderson has been going well with his newcomers and has won this race before with Welsh Saint. Hands Off is the mount of Nico de Boinville and seems to have some sustained support. As with Attacca, he has a bit of weight off a few rivals. He’s seemingly the first string and being by Getaway, you would imagine that he will prefer the distance more. You’d fancy him to get off to a winning start for connections.

HANDS OFF (WIN)

18:45 Chelmsford

The three main market principles for this race all race each other again, after facing off in the first leg of ‘The Road To The Kentucky Derby.’ John Gosden’s charge, Find, was collared on the line when being in the prime position two furlongs out. He will be a lot fitter for this race and the Gosden’s took this race last year. However, I just think he still has a bit to find on his other two.

Blue Trail took the victory in the aforementioned race when storming home to collar Find and Harrow. He quickened up nicely and he would have learnt a lot from his last race, especially given that he had to come from a disadvantaged draw. He’s taken to go well again but he will have to produce a career best from a bad draw.

Harrow has some stellar form behind Reach For The Moon and Modern Games. He made his three-year-old debut in the Kempton race and was just denied by Blue Trail when they came from the back to catch Find. He’ll come on a lot for that race and should improve a lot more. He’d be fancied to reverse the form with Blue Trail.
