The Glancing Queen made the perfect start to her chasing career with victory in a listed contest at Bangor last month, comfortably beating the re-opposing Emmas Joy who could only manage fourth, and given she has winning form over similar trips when tackling smaller obstacles there is every chance she will progress again and successfully give weight away to all rivals.
Little River Bay was a convincing winner at Uttoxeter when last seen, making it two from two over fences and five wins from her last six runs overall. This is a marked step up in class but she doesn’t look to have reached her limit as yet so would have to be considered a live danger, while Kapard beat the highly regarded Willie Mullins runner MT Leinster on chase debut so would also have to be considered despite this longer trip being an unknown.

Jeremy Pass progressed well over hurdles but was always expected to make a better chaser and this already appears the case, following up an encouraging second on debut with a convincing victory at Ascot when last seen. That was only a three-runner affair but he jumped well and was in complete command throughout so with further progression expected and his trainer in fine recent form he rates as the confident selection.
Organdi won well despite being 6lbs out of the handicap at Exeter on penultimate run and wasn’t disgraced when contesting a Listed contest last month, finishing just a couple of lengths back in third. If handling the slightly slower conditions then she looks to be the main danger to the selection,.
Winds Of Fire only got as far as the first fence on chase debut but made amends with victory at Newcastle two weeks ago, being driven out to prevail by almost two lengths, and is another to consider with further progress likely.
