Champion Chase is 0-31 under rules so its hard to make a case for him. Jobsgreen Lad is back from a five month break so will more than likely need the run however he is on a nice mark so if he were to go well fresh it would certainly put him in each way contention.

Nikap is a maiden chaser having no joy in 10 chase runs however has switched yards and is with Evan Williams who tends to do well round these Welsh tracks and sometimes a change of scenery can do the trick with Horses.

Pay The Woman commands respect and is going for a Hattrick of wins here and has won course and distance at 40/1 then backed it up next time out to show it was no fluke. You can see why she is Favourite

However, for value and a bigger price my selection is Doubleubee who makes his chase debut today and I feel the fences will be much more to his liking than hurdles he ran in 3 point to point in Ireland won 2 of them and finished 3rd in another which suggests chasing is more his game. Hes only run over Hurdles 3 times and that was once this month so should be race fit compared to others in the race.

Dr Richard Newland & Sam Twiston-Davies have been a good combination in the summer gone and tend to combine well and both in good form. only adds to the confidence they know what they are doing with Doubleubee
