THE CONDITIONAL bids to regain the winning thread here and looks a solid favourite on the back of his cracking effort, when third on his seasonal debut in the Ladbroke Trophy. Highly progressive and as solid as any in the jumping department, the slight concern would be going right-handed although he did win at Thurles when trained in Ireland.

Course and distance specialist Regal Encore aims to land this for the third time. He won in decisive fashion here two starts ago and can be forgiven for flopping last time.

Espoir De Guye made it two from two at this venue when winning in workmanlike fashion the last day, the form of that wouldn't be anything to get overly excited about though he is massively unexposed and this trip could prove ideal.

Beware The Bear looks high enough in the weights and although he could go well for each way purposes his overall record suggests he will find winning difficult off this mark.

Mister Malarky and Flying Angel are capable when on song though both lack consistency and couldn't be trusted.

Despite showing a good attitude last time, Quarenta has plenty to find at this level. The rest look hard to make cases for and as such, THE CONDITIONAL is afforded the vote whilst Regal Encore looks the safest alternative.
