15:55 Doncaster Muntahaa leads the line in this conditions stakes race. A fourth I the St Leger looks by far the best form on offer and will be hard to beat. Chemical Change is a great horse but a proverbial bridesmaid and no doubt it’ll come close but wether he’ll topple the favourite looks doubtful. The one I fear most is Godolphins Frontiersman who looks a likely improver and is the one most likely to follow up the Gosden runner. Muntahaa (WIN)
16:15 Ascot The “old boys” take centre stage in this veterans chase. Lots of familiar names line up in a race that both trainers Tom George and Charlie Longsdon have great record in these types of races. Bob Tucker looks to have a great chance but he hasn’t won in a while. I’m opting to side with a trainer who’s had a fantastic season. Colin Tizzard saddles Theatrical Star who will relish this trip and looks a very generous price at 12/1 for a horse that’s very consistent. Theatrical Star (E/W)
