SUNDAY WEEKENDER

15:45 Salisbury Dark Shot missed the break but almost won the Epsom Dash from a miraculous position last time, steadily improving he deserves a crack at this sort of company but he is up against it at the weights and he has never won at the trip. Mr Lupton is best forgiven his third at Windsor last time as he couldn’t get a run, that effort was however a decent one and his earlier efforts make him a very strong candidate here. Spring Fling, Tropics and Mythmaker have chances but Mr Lupton ticks all the boxes and he can regain the winning thread. MR LUPTON (WIN) – NAP

16:45 Salisbury Tai Hang Dragon wouldnt be one of Richard Hannon’s stable stars but she has achieved enough in and around this grade to warrant plenty of respect in this and will surely take some beating against a rather moderate bunch. Twice a winner on the all weather she ran well enough at Brighton last time and todays extra furlong will suit. Bassmah showed only moderate promise in three starts last term though she bettered that when second on her seasonal bow at Leicester, given normal improvement she also looks a big player. Aimez La Vie is fairly consistent and won last time, that victory ought to bring her on but all things considered this is a very good chance for Tai Hang Dragon to record her first victory on turf. TAI HANG DRAGON (WIN)
