He sends the Teofilo colt into battle here for the Group 2 Futurity Stakes over 7f. Kevin Manning’s mount sets the standard here with his close second in the Tyros Stakes last time out and he gets the nod to take this one today. Aiden O’Brien’s Rostropovich will likely provide the main opposition for his juggernaut yard, but he has a bit to find with the selection. THEOBALD (WIN) – NAP

15:20 Curragh The Group 2 Debutante Stakes is one of the other feature races run over 7f on a bumper card of action at the Curragh. The Coolmore operation look to hold all the aces here with no less than three of the eight entries in the race. Magical looks to be the lesser threat of the three, but does have a win and second to her name. Ryan Moore has plumped for the daughter of Galileo, Magical much to the shock of the racing community, but the thrice raced filly has already two wins to her name including a course and distance win and she could be the one to be with here, but a chance is instead taken on unbeaten stablemate September. She followed up an impressive maiden win at this course with an impressive demolition of a classy field in the Chesham at Royal Ascot and she is the confident selection here. SEPTEMBER (WIN)
