Despite the shocking numerical turnout, this looks fairly interesting and all four set to run appear to have decent claims one way or another. Checkitout doesn't win as often as one would like though he often leaves the impression he has races in him and this is much easier than some of his most recent assignments. Placed at Aintree and Ascot the time after, he arrives here on the back of a solid fifth back at Ascot last time and his last win was recorded in a four runner race.
Eaglehill has been well placed and arrives in fairly decent form, his third last time out at Musselburgh strongly suggested a step up in trip was required and this really should suit. Four times a winner under rules and a winning pointer, this good ground is another apparent positive and respect is afforded.
Cheque En Blanc has won here and indeed over this trip, his most recent effort wasn't too shabby although he looks vulnerable against a couple of these and is taken on as such. I See You Well is a regular in this type of grade and he won well a couple of starts back, the handicapper looks to have his measure right now though and Checkitout is taken to prove best of all.

Heartbreak Kid finished around a length and a half in front of the re-opposing Crack Du Ninian when the pair were beaten by Hasankey at Ayr last time out. Clearly both big players here, separating the pair looks tricky although the first mentioned has been dropped a pound in the weights.
Calidad is unexposed and could throw a spanner into the work on what is just his sixth start. Well beaten when odds on last time leaves him with slight question marks though he clearly has any amount of improvement left in him and respect is most certainly afforded.
Bulldoze makes up the quartet but looks to have a mountain to climb and so Heartbreak Kid is taken to uphold the recent Ayr form and land this for the in-form Donald McCain.
