Harry Fry boasts a 50% winning strike rate in the last twelve months at the course and looks to have a decent chance here with Air Horse One. A fantastic second to Jenkins last time out, he has now made the frame in all three runs over the trip, winning two.
Old Guard and Clyne are both likeable sorts and have the ability to get competitive in a race such as this, however I think the one they all have to beat is the 2016 winner of this race, Lil Rockerfeller. A classy hurdler who was second in last season’s Stayers Hurdle, his last two victories have come over today’s trip and he should be capable of another victory here.

Hurricane Rita was five lengths behind Hollywood All Star when last seen but won his race prior to that and has made the frame in three from five over today’s trip so looks to be the bigger danger of the two, especially when considering Hollywood All Star hasn’t won since December 2015 and has only one win in twenty-two over the trip.
Indian Reel finally got off the mark over hurdles last time out, winning by almost four lengths in heavy ground at Leicester. He is again partnered with in-form jockey Paddy Brennan and keeps the tongue-tie which did the trick when last seen so should be capable of recording back-to-back victories.
