SUNDAY WEEKENDER

15:40 Doncaster

Equitation is relatively lightly-raced for a four-year old yet has already tasted victory twice from four career runs, with both wins coming over six furlongs and one coming here at Doncaster. He finished less than two lengths behind Watchable last month but that was his first run for eight months and he re-opposes 2lbs better off than that rival today. He was a winner on second run last season so his re-appearance should have set him up for today and with the Roger Varian yard in amongst the winners in the last few weeks they should be capable of another victory here today.

Both Boy In The Bar and Pipers Note have good records over the trip but the former is yet to score in three at the course, while the latter tends to save his best for Ripon or Beverley so both are likely to battle it out for the minor honours.
