R Michael Smith has an excellent level stakes profit record of +£78.50 in 2018 at Ayr and looks to have a great chance of gaining another winner here today with previous course and distance winner Haymarket. A close second over course and distance last time out, being caught in the final strides, he is partnered with Andrew Breslin who claims 7lbs for today’s race and it is this claim that could make all the difference.

Natajack won over a shorter trip last week and arrives here with a 6lbs penalty for his efforts, however the third came out and won three days later so the form looks decent and he could be a danger if staying this longer trip.
