The recent stable form is a bit of a concern but Gordon Elliott looks to have a great chance of bagging a few winners at Thurles today. I have picked out Cubomania as having a strong chance of making it a hat-trick of victories since joining the yard. He beat a couple of subsequent winners on stable debut and both victories have come over a two-mile trip in heavy ground so although the 9lbs rise will make things tougher he finishes his races off really strongly so should be capable of another victory here.
Getoutwhenyoucan and Westerners Son are both prior winners over course and distance and are respected accordingly, although the biggest danger looks to be Shower Cross who was an impressive twelve length winner on hurdles debut on Boxing Day.
