SUNDAY WEEKENDER

15:30 Cheltenham

Seddon looked an exciting prospect when winning on bumper debut and contested the Champion Bumper at last season’s Cheltenham Festival on only his second run. Switched to hurdles this season, he travelled well under a patient ride and quickened away nicely to win by over four lengths at Stratford earlier in the month. It was a particularly impressive performance considering it was pretty much a hands and heels ride so with the prospect of more to come he gets the vote to come out on top in what promises to be an informative race.

Anytime Will Do is unbeaten in two over hurdles but takes a big step up in grade so the bigger danger looks to be Itchy Feet who won well in a Listed contest at Kempton last month, beating next-time-out winner Grand Sancy by over two lengths and staying on well after the final hurdle to maintain his unbeaten record since going over hurdles. He looks a decent prospect but will need to improve his jumping having put in a couple of sketchy jumps last time out.
