14:15 Wetherby
Regular is yet to gain victory in four career runs to date but has made the frame in three of those four, one of which came on turf over todays’ trip. He returned from a five-month break with an encouraging second at Kempton earlier in the month, finishing less than a length behind the winner but over two lengths clear of Adelante in fourth (who went on to win next time out) so should be capable of further progression now switched back to turf, especially as he is partnered with P J McDonald who has a good record at the course and boasts a 40% winning strike rate in the last twelve months when riding for the trainer.
White Coat has race fitness on his side but has shown his best form on the all-weather thus far, so the most likely challenger looks to be Irreverent who put in a couple of promising runs last season and races for a trainer and jockey who also have decent strike rates at the course.
