Alex Hales has had a fruitful few weeks, posting three wins from his last ten runners. His six year old mare Stepover has an excellent record at the course with two wins and two seconds from five runs and looks to have a great chance of another victory here, having only gone up 3lbs for a solid victory last time out.

Both Fergal O’Brien and Paddy Brennan have good records at the course so if Oscar Rose takes his place in the field then would have to be considered the main danger, while Fool To Cry and Kalaniti have good records over the trip and both are capable of getting involved.
