SUNDAY WEEKENDER

15:05 Fontwell

Skint was course and distance winner when last seen in April, taking his tally to two wins from two when wearing both a tongue-strap and blinkers. He has won three times on return from a summer break so the 142 day absence should prove to be a benefit rather than a hinderance and the twelve-year-old looks to have an excellent chance of returning to action with another victory here today, notching up his hat-trick in the process.

The recent form of both jockey and trainer would have to be a concern for backers of Dark Invader but based in his two victories over a two-mile trip earlier in the year he would have to be considered the principal danger to our selection and looks the most likely to pick up the pieces should Skint falter.
