Redhotfillypeppers won a couple of races over hurdles but its probably fair to say she failed to realise her full potential over the smaller obstacles. A point-to-point winner before joining Willie Mullins, better was expected going over fences and she didn’t disappoint, beating two subsequent winners in comfortable fashion when last seen at Limerick. A winner on both soft and heavy ground, she also has winning form over similar trips and further so looks to have a great chance of making it two from two over the larger obstacles.

The obvious danger is Missy Tata who arrives here having won her last six, five over hurdles and the latest of which came on chase debut last month. She also has form on soft ground and is two from two at Limerick but unlike our selection hasn’t yet competed over this trip so could get found out stepping up in trip in such testing conditions.
