The yard of Kim Bailey is in spectacular form with 9 winners at a strike rate of 29% over the last fortnight. SUBWAY SURF is Kim’s only entry over jumps on Thursday and should attract market support. She had, on the face of it, a disappointing first season over hurdles but the prevalent soft ground was always against her. As a result she starts off in a Novice Handicap chase off a mark of 115. A mark that her very astute trainer is sure to exploit. The horse that beat her when she was an odds on favourite at Ludlow is now rated 135. With a nice break behind her, on much better ground and the red hot stable form all things point towards a good run.
