A few of these are regulars in this and My Style bids to follow up today, having taken last season's renewal off a one-pound lower mark. Rather in and out so far this season, he finally showed encouraging signs when fourth here last time and today has probably always been the plan.
Case Key is a dual winner of this race (2017 & 19) and he bounced back to form in no uncertain terms when storming clear at Nottingham last time. His claims would be as strong as any if repeating that form and a healthy deal of respect is afforded, however, the handicapper didn't miss that and his mark of seventy-two makes life very tricky.
George Bowen has been called plenty of names during his time although he has twice scored this season. Often slowly away and not seen until late in the day, you could make a case for him although his mark looks on the high side and he arrives completely out of form.
Mitrosonfire takes something of a drop in grade today having won last time at Ascot in a Class two, he very clearly should be the market leader although he has failed to fire on three separate visits here and has to be taken on despite looking the best horse on paper.
Devil's Angel showed a willing attitude when winning here the last day and is another to consider although the vote shall be handed to My Style, in the hope that he can overcome stall one and that his mark allows for a better showing.
