RYAN'S RASCAL TO ROMP HOME

Ventura Rascal has been the model of consistency since switching to turf, posting three wins and four further top three finishes in his last seven runs. All three wins have come on good or good-to-firm ground and he wasn't too far away when second on soft ground at Thirsk when last seen. He stays this trip well and the return to a faster surface should enable him to continue progressing.

The biggest danger looks to be prior course and distance winner Tommy G who has notched a hat-trick since being partnered with Harry Russell and although has gone up another 4lbs has won off higher marks in the past so it wouldn't be too much of a surprise to see another bold bid.

Kylie Rules hasn't won for almost two years and both trainer and jockey have struggled for winners in recent weeks, however given her last win came in a class 3 when racing off 81 she is likely to pop up sooner rather than later.
