15:10 Fontwell Oscars Boss was beaten at odds of 1/4 on debut for the Neil Mulholland yard and the son of Norse Dancer may come on for that effort, which came on the back of a four-month break. However he didn’t look entirely at home on the tight turns at Plumpton, so this track may not play to his strengths. The filly who receives all the allowances could be the one to take the favourite on with. Chandos Belle improved on her second start over hurdles at Plumpton when chasing home Postbridge, who dictated that race from the front. She shaped like she had stamina and in these conditions that could be on her side, so if going from the front with all the weight she gets could be hard to catch. Ninepointsixthree hasn’t been seen since running in a Chelmsford handicap in July but has shaped with promise in three maiden hurdles in the spring. Generally he is one that comes on for the run, so a market check is worthwhile because this track is likely to suit him. Chandos Belle (WIN)
18:45 Kempton An open looking handicap where Ted’s Brother is worth a look after his third at Wolverhampton when trying this trip for the first time. That came when unfancied and in an Amateur Riders handicap, so back under professional handling with Shane Kelly on board could have more to offer over this trip for Laura Mongan. When you look at the make up of this race in terms of pace then the only out and out front-runner is Rail Dancer. Richard Rowe’s inmate could get a soft lead and that’s when he is seen at his best, as shown here three starts back when able to dictate and make all in January. He’s been below his best the last twice but the visor comes back on for the cheekpieces, which were tried last time. Tactically you have to think Adam Beschizza takes him to the front from stall five in a bid to make all of the running. Silverstre de Sousa has ridden Ali Bin Nayef once and that saw him record his only career win to date. He’s 1lb lower for his second here three starts ago but the fact he’s been made the early favourite is telling of this race as a whole. He wouldn’t be one to trust with my money and neither would be Powered. Rail Dancer (E/W)
