RACE PREVIEWS & TIPS (WEDNESDAY)

18:35 Sandown Trainer Andrew Balding has his horses firing on all cylinders at the moment and we look to his runner Itsakindamagic to do the business today. Second in a Class 2 race last time out he takes a big drop down to Class 4 company and we’re hoping he can capitalise. Almoreb poses a huge danger and a return to a mile look a positive step. A worthy favourite but one worth taking on after a disappointing sixth placed finish last time out. ITSAKINDAMAGIC (WIN)

19:40 Sandown There may only be the six runners to look through but most have a viable case to be made as to why they can win. Bottom weight Fox Trotter may have finished sixth on his last two outings but from a yard in form and with the champion jockey in the saddle he has a credible chance, especially returning to seven furlongs. Both Dutch Uncle and Thomas Cranmer fly the flag for big time owners and won’t be push overs. Scottish Glen was a good horse on his day and although a shadow of his former self hasn’t been disgraced recently. That being said however a second over today’s course and distance last time out should put Sultan Baybars in good stead for a yard who are on fire. Jockey Silvestre De Sousa is booked for the ride and this likely improver should take all the beating. SULTAN BAYBARS (WIN) – NAP
