RACE PREVIEWS & TIPS (TUESDAY)

15:30 Beverley Toga Tiger is still 5lbs higher than his best winning mark, Desert Way hasn’t won since a maiden victory last summer, Save The Bees is zero from eight at the course and Torremar’s sole career victory came on soft ground so this race looks to be between the two previous course and distance winners in the field. The first of these is Bromance who has a win and a second from two attempts over track and trip but steps up in class and has been upped 1lbs for the placed effort last time out so may be looking at minor honours today. The second is Sunglider who recorded his only turf victory here at Beverley on good-to-firm ground over todays’ trip and following a couple of lesser efforts in recent weeks is now only 1lbs above his last winning mark. Partnered with Danny Tudhope who has won one in four and posted level stakes profit of over £40 to a £1 stake in the last three years at the course he looks the one to be on today. Sunglider (WIN)

20:45 Leicester Infiniti was a convincing winner over twelve furlongs last time out, winning with what looked to be a little in hand, so a 4lbs rise shouldn’t be too concerning especially when considering she’s still a couple of lbs below her last turf victory. She has made the frame in four from five at the course and and in over 50% of turf races on similar ground so is unlikely to be far away at the finishing line. Most of the remainder bring very sketchy recent form in to the race but Shining Romeo and Touch The Clouds have previous course form, Star Ascending has a decent record over todays’ trip and it would be no surprise to see Yul Finegold pop up with a big run racing off his current mark.
