RACE PREVIEWS & TIPS (TUESDAY)

15:15 Catterick Richard Fahey has a decent record at Catterick and sends just one runner here today. Aimez La Vie won with a bit in hand at Thirsk when last seen towards the end of July, a race which has produced three subsequent winners, so a 6lbs rise doesn’t look overly harsh and with conditions forecast to suit she can gain her third victory of the season. Malcolm The Pug was an easy winner over six furlongs in a seller last time out but the stable have struggled for winners in recent weeks so the main danger looks to be Heir Of Excitement who has posted both career victories over today’s trip and with one of those coming in soft ground would need taking seriously if the rain continues. Aimez La Vie (WIN) – NAP

15:55 Leicester The New Pharaoh has posted all three career victories over twelve furlongs on good-to-soft or soft ground, with one of these coming on only previous visit to Leicester. He’s only 1lbs above last winning mark and with both trainer and jockey in good recent form looks to have a decent chance of gaining another victory here. Maori Bob has won his last two but has been raised 7lbs and both victories came on good-to-firm so Medallo De Oro, another arriving here looking for a hat-trick, looks to be the bigger danger. He also has a weight rise to contend with but unlike Maori Bob has winning form on ground with some cut. The New Pharaoh (WIN)
