Elegant Escape put in a solid round of jumping when second on chase debut last month, beating a subsequent winner by eleven lengths. He should appreciate this slightly longer trip and the forecast conditions should suit so looks to have a great chance of going one better than last time out.
Fergal O’Brien has an excellent record with his runners over fences at Exeter and only sends one runner here today so Barney Dwan deserves a mention. A grade 3 winner over hurdles, he put in a solid performance when second on chase debut and was still in contention when being brought down on only other run over fences so looks to be the main danger.
Ballyoptic has an excellent record when fresh but ultimately had a disappointing season last season and now goes chasing with a bit of a point to prove.

Magic Mirror is a previous course and distance winner and improved to beat a subsequent winner last time out. She has an excellent record at Kempton and should be capable of defying a 5lbs rise today.
Pick A Little also arrives on the back of victory last time out and is another with a decent record at the course, although has come up short twice over track and trip.
Suitsus is now 3lbs below last winning mark on the all-weather and usually puts in a solid performance, however with only one win in thirteen he’ll probably find one or two too strong again.
