15:45 Yarmouth Both trainer Roger Varian and jockey Andrea Atzeni have decent records at Yarmouth so Fujaira Bridge, who has made the frame in all three attempts over trips of around a mile, warrants respect. Hersigh and Excel Again are both proven over todays’ trip while the booking of Ryan Moore on Moolazim suggests he should handle the switch to turf, however preference is for William Haggas’ runner Hakeem who took a while to get the hang of things on debut but stayed on strongly to record a course and distance victory with what looked to be plenty in hand so should be capable of another big run with further improvement likely. 17:15 Yarmouth Ebitda hadn’t shown much in three attempts on the all-weather but was much improved when switched to turf at Redcar last month, finishing strongly to beat a subsequent winner with relative ease. The yard have been firing in the winners in recent weeks so with the ground looking to be in her favour and the step up to six furlongs promising to suit she looks capable of doubling her winning tally. My Girl Maisie won last time out and although arriving with a 6lbs penalty would have to be considered a big danger especially if the ground turns soft, while Wotadoll only just failed over course and distance last time out and can again get involved off just a 2lbs higher mark.
