RACE PREVIEWS & TIPS (TUESDAY)

18:30 Chelmsford Amazing Alice arrives here having won her last two, both in convincing fashion, with a seven length course and distance victory the obvious highlight. Today sees a step up in class but she’s looked much more at home on synthetic surfaces than on turf and her trainer Archie Watson is in great form at the moment so his runner is taken to continue the winning run. William Haggas is another trainer firing in the winners so Green Fortune, who beat three subsequent winners on debut over todays’ trip, looks to be the biggest danger especially if handling the switch from turf. A final mention goes to Tunes Of Glory who is another proven over six furlongs. He didn’t see out the extra furlong last time out but could get involved now dropped back in trip. Amazing Alice (WIN)

21:00 Chelmsford Golden Goal got the hang of things late on to record a comfortable two length victory on debut over course and distance, with the third that day finished a further five lengths behind. Trainer Saeed Bin Suroor has an incredible 56% winning strike rate over the last twelve months at the course so his three year old looks one to keep on the right side of with the promise of more to come. Etikaal was a convincing winner over track and trip last time out and looks to be the main danger, although a 10lbs rise and a step up in class will make things more difficult, while Dark Side Dream, Coronation Day and North Creek are others proven over the trip and capable of making their presence felt.
