River Frost made an encouraging seasonal comeback at Chepstow last month when fisnishing a credible fifth, down in grade today it would be disappointing if he failed to play a significant part and a big run is expected. Applesandpierres won nicely at Wetherby last time and is an appealing type, despite being nine it is interesting he has had only thirteen starts to date and you get the feeling he has yet to reach his peak. Oh Land Abloom, Cake De L’isle and Arthur’s Gift could play parts if on song though the vote goes to River Frost despite his welter burden.
