13:20 Ludlow Amour De Nuit made his hurdling debut at Taunton a month ago where he found the Harry Skelton trained Asum a little too good. He will have learned plenty from that outing and given that he represents the Champion trainer Paul Nicholls he can be given nother chance. He was a smart performer on the flat when trained by Sir Mark Prescott winning on the turf at Lingfield, Ripon, York and Ayr as well as also securing a victory on the all weather surface at Chelmsford. Sam Twiston-Davies is once again on board and the combination can make it second time lucky. Boagrius made a winning debut in a Catterick bumper back in December. A ready on that occasion winner by a dozen lengths, he saw off the attentions of Blue Bullet and River Icon. Warren Greatrex has his yard in excellent form and if this four year old can translate his form to hurdling, he looks a massive danger. The ground will not be an issue as it was something similar last month when he won and he commands utmost respect. Minella Rebellion will need to improve from his debut to play a part here. He was beaten eleven lengths at Doncaster last time and may to to settle for a place once again today. AMOUR DE NUIT (WIN)
15:20 Wincanton Dawson City (NAP) was last seen out a little over a fortnight ago where he found Morney Wing a length and a half too strong. He is four pounds better off with that rival on the revised terms today and has to have an obvious chance of reversing the form.  Soft ground seems to play to his strengths and this slight drop back in trip should see him to better effect. He was placed here on his only previous run at the track Aso he has to be high on any shortlist this afternoon. Sartorial Elegance was well supported in that same previous race at Plumpton and he looks the main danger this afternoon. He was still travelling smoothly when coming to grief four out and Colin Tizzard is likely to have schooled him well since. Tom O’Brien replaces Paul O’Brien in the saddle and the duo command plenty of respect. Morney Wing has it all to do to defy joint topweight off this career high mark, whilst Alfie Spinner tries to defy almost a year off the track and also has to concede almost a stone to some of his rivals.
