16:00 Southwell Starlight Court ran well with a first time tongue tie at Warwick last time and perhaps this extra half mile will be more to his benefit. He is still relatively unexposed and comes here seemingly improving with each run. His yard notched up a double at Huntingdon yesterday with their only two runners, so the team are clearly in excellent heart. Harry Skelton takes over in the saddle but he has partnered the six year old on two previous occasions. With ground conditions expected to suit a bold run is anticipated. Magic Dancer has had five outings over hurdles but he shaped with definite promise following a year long lay off at Kempton last month. He is fully entitled to improve for that outing and if taking to the extra distance, he will prove the biggest threat to the selection. Pearl Royale has finished second in her last three starts. She should go well again given that she has shown promise over this sort of trip in the past and has each way claims. STARLIGHT COURT (WIN)
16:40 Wolverhampton Siouxperhero looks to be coming back into form and has finished runner up twice in his last three starts. He is a multiple course and distance winner and ran way better than his odds suggested that he would at this track just a couple of weeks ago. He is still well handicapped on the best of his old form and Tom Marquand once again takes the reins. If repeating his recent exploits he has to be high on any shortlist. Pensax Lady is a regular visitor to this track and has two course and distance wins to her name. She is still only a four year old and further improvement cannot entirely be ruled out. Luke Morris knows what she is all about and the duo look the pick of the opposition. Suitsus has become a model of consistency but his one win from twenty three career starts is hardly breathtaking. He should be in the shake up yet again but is more likely to place than win. SIOUXPERHERO (E/W if 9/2+)
