RACE PREVIEWS & TIPS (MONDAY)

18:15 Windsor Just the six lineup for this one mile handicap and bottom weight Sir Plato looks the one to beat. With three wins over the mile trip here at Windsor he looks to maintain his 100% course and distance success rate. Oisin Murphy has bagged six wins in the past two weeks and takes the ride on Sir Plato. The big threat looks to be William Muir’s Calvados Spirit. Two decent efforts in his last two outings shows he’s in good form. A drop down to a mile should play into his hands but he may be open to our selection. SIR PLATO (WIN) – NAP

19:30 Carlisle The ladies take to the saddle in this Pro-Am Lady Riders contest where top weight Silvery Moon looks to have a great chance. He may be ten years old but he absolutely loves it here at Carlisle. With five starts at the northern venue he’s racked up two victories and two placed efforts. His trainer Tim Easterby has his yard in fine form with ten winners in the last fortnight. It’s true that he’s got a tough task on his hands against much younger legs but if he still retains his ability he’ll go close. Kenstone has been really consistent having not finished outside the top three in his last nine starts. The likelihood is he’ll finish close once again and should put up a decent showing. At a bigger price and if the rain persists Mustaqbal may put in a more improved effort and far out run his large odds. SILVERY MOON (E/W)
