17:20 Haydock The action at Haydock Park concludes with a tricky looking handicap over 1m2f, but it may pay to side with a progressive 3yo. The boys in blue of Godolphin send the in-form Don’t Give Up here in search of his third win in just four starts here today and he looks to have a great chance of landing the spoils. The Dubawi colt had a wide margin maiden success at Kempton before coming up just short when failing to collar Pillar of Society under an enterprising front running ride. He soon brushed that defeat off and took another step forward with handicap win at Windsor last time out and despite only winning by a head, he looks good value for the 4lb rise. Martin Lane’s ride had some smart types in behind last time and with more progress likely, he is the confident pick to land the spoils again today. Ed Dunlop’s 4yo Michael’s Mount has a win and place from his last two starts and looks the likely main danger in that sort of form. DON’T GIVE UP (WIN)
20:20 Kempton The highlight of the evening action from Kempton is the 1m2f handicap and an exciting field of progressive types line up here for a competitive looking contest. The prolific Arab Moon is definitely one to fear again here giving that he has won four of his six starts this season, the latest of which was a commanding win over course and distance last time out, but it may instead pay to look to one who could improve past him tonight. Godolphin send their exciting unbeaten 3yo gelding here for its all weather debut after two impressive wins to start his career. The horse has won both of his races in commanding fashion over shorter trips, the latest of those came over 1m1f where he shaped as if the further step up in trip would suit and he looks the one to be on here tonight so gets the confident nod to land the hat trick. MOUNTAIN HUNTER (WIN) – NAP
