14:30 Lingfield A tricky looking 6f handicap for three-year-olds on paper, but there are a handful of likely contenders who can take a hand here. Richard Fahey sends the improving Right Action here and he left his two-year-old form well behind when landing a Wolverhampton maiden on his seasonal reappearance. He continued his progression last time when following home a promising type in a higher grade last time out and a repeat of that form would see him land the spoils here today so he gets the nod with more improvement likely. Peachey Carnehan was beaten in a seller at Wolverhampton, but improved to land a handicap from the front at the same venue last time out, so he can definitely give the selection something to think about. Porto Ferro is another who won well last time out in maiden company and had some previously smart form in Ireland, but this is much tougher today and doubts if he can reproduce that level. 19:30 Dundalk The yard are firing on all cylinders at the moment and Tribal Path looks to have a fantastic chance of extending their recent run. The seven-year-old enjoyed his best ever run when landing four handicaps on the bounce last year and has ran with credit on two return runs this term. The last of those runs was an impressive fourth behind Brendan Brackan in the Irish Lincoln last weekend. That run should have him bang on for this assault on his favourite track and the return to 7f only further strengthens his cause. Track regulars such as ishebayorgrey and Pearl Spectre looked held on their recent run behind another Dundalk stalwart Split the Atom. He probably rates the main danger to the selection with the assistance of the experienced Wayne Lordan to aid his cause, but faces a stiff task to match the recent form of Tribal Path.
