16:40 Carlisle It is always fascinating when Sir Michael Stoute sends one of his horses this far north, but today he looks to have found a decent opportunity at Carlisle for his progressive three-year-old Melting Dew. The horse has won his last two starts on the all weather in taking fashion and there was a lot to like about his battling win over the William Haggas trained Alfarris, who also looks like a smart horse, so the form of that win looks strong. The Stoute horse looked strongest at the finish that day so the extra furlong only strengthens his suitability and now with Steve Donohoe in the saddle he gets the confident nod to land the hat trick here today. Mark Johnston’s Voski is entered in a number of high profile races going forward so he looks the most likely danger to the selection. MELTING DEW (WIN) – NAP

21:10 Haydock The final selection comes from the lucky last at Haydock on Friday, but Luca Cumani’s unexposed filly God Given looks like she might just be worth the wait. The three-year-old has been placed in all three of her starts to date, but the most notable performance has to be her three length defeat behind the impressive unbeaten John Gosden filly Shutter Speed. She may well be well treated in this company having one more go in Maiden company with a furlong shorter trip in her favour and can land the spoils with the aid of former champion Jamie Spencer in the saddle. The Karl Burke trained Relevant looks the most likely danger to pounce should the selection fail to fire. GOD GIVEN (WIN)
