RACE PREVIEWS & PICKS (MONDAY)

15:50 Wolverhampton Course regular Perfect Cracker has been threatening to get his head in front again for a while now and is likely to be better suited to todays trip than when third here over slightly shorter last month. Drawn in the one box he should be able to hold a good position early and can pounce towards the end under Kirby and rack up a fifth victory at this venue. Sennockian Star has won two of his last three and warrants respect hailing from the powerful Mark Johnston yard. More known for his exploits in the turf he has shown himself to be no back number on the artificial surfaces but he will have to be at his best to see off a few of these course winners. The handicapper may have caught up with Coillte Cailin now though she may have been a little too free when disappointing behind the re-opposing Winterlude last time, the pair have claims once more but perhaps have done their winning for now. Off the outsiders Italian winner Vettori Rules is quite interesting and couldn’t really be given or written off, market vibes are a must before playing but he will have to be quite decent to come out on top whatever. Perfect Cracker (WIN) – NAP

16:10 Catterick Front-runners often fare well here and I Just Know arrives in fine form having bolted up when making all at Doncaster last time. Progressive and 2-4 over fences he acts on the ground and looks to have a good chance of following up despite being upped in Grade. Nortonthorpelegend completed the hat-trick when winning at Ayr a couple of starts back but fell when in touch the time after when favourite. Rebecca Menzies charge could well bounce back today and has won around here so rates as a big danger to all if over that mishap. Jac The Legend will likely find this much easier than some of his recent tasks and is another who knows how to win around here, any money for him would be significant but he was pretty poor last time and requires a fair amount of faith. Hedley Lamarr is from a shrewd yard and wants watching in the market, a comment that also applies to the dangerously handicapped Presenting Junior but I Just Know may have more improvement to come and is taken to run them ragged and make all. I Just Know (WIN)
