Pentland Lad came desperately close to shedding his maiden tag here last time, slowly away at the start he fairly rattled home and failed by just under half a length when ultimately finishing third. Promising the time before that when making his first start for this yard, the booking of Oisin Murphy today strongly suggest that a big run is on the cards and he looks to have rock solid claims. Handicap debutants Zorro’s Girl and Miss Enigma have both shown a level of ability that indicates they can score in this grade though this looks a fantastic opportunity for Pentland Lad and he is taken to score at the sixth time of asking.
