The showpiece race of the day at Suffolk’s coastal track of Yarmouth sees representatives from some of the UK’s best trainers. Trainer Roger Varian is double handed with Rasima and Sheikha Reika who both have lively chances.

Scottish Jig certainly has the right connections in the dream team of Gosden and Dettori but has to improve on what she’s shown most recently.

The powerhouse of Godolphin aren’t what they once were but they have a decent record here at Yarmouth. Their UAE 1000 Guineas winner Winter Lightning has strong claims and should progress for her recent return to turf. Dropping down to listed company should also help and with man of the moment Oisin Murphy booked for the ride her chances look far from slim.
