RACE PREVIEW & TIPS (WEDNESDAY)

19:45 Kempton

There’s two class 4 handicaps on offer at this evenings meeting from Kempton and are scene as the main events of tonights eight race card.

We’re tackling one of these aforementioned races with an eleven runner seven furlong affair where six of the entrants have former winning course and distance form. That being said however we’re actually opting for a horse who’s yet to taste success either here at Kempton or over the seven furlong trip. Despite these seeming disadvantages we’re taking a plunge with the Karl Burke trained Medici Banchiere. The trainer is starting to hit form and with the booking of champion jockey Silvestre De Sousa in the saddle the four year old gelding certainly sparks interest. The horse still has a tonne of questions to answer but he looks to potentially have the ability to do much better than he has done previously.

Unforgiving Minute and Arnarson have the capabilities and have shown what they can do so certainly demand the upmost respect as likely contestants to our selection and at a much bigger price I’d also keep an eye out for the Andrew Balding trained Intransigent who, despite being nine years old, has performed very well in much more competitive races than this.
