The penultimate race on the card at Newcastle looks, if we go off what the bookmakers say, to be a two horse race.

Likely favourite is Whitsundays who claimed success less than a week ago and hailing from the in-form Donald McCain yard hopes to make it back to back victories off the same handicap mark.

There’s no doubt Whitsundays is set to go close however Casual Cavalier is the one that gets the nod. A very consistent sort who gets a massive boost with jockey Brian Hughes set to ride. A former course and distance winner who acts well at Newcastle and should have enough to topple the market principle.
