The last of a seven race card from Newcastle’s, all weather, evening meeting sees the sprinters take centre stage. The six furlong contest hosts returning course victor Star Cracker make a reunion with the venue he won at most recently. The six year old gelding hails from the yard of Jim Goldie who’s bagged a couple of winners in recent weeks. The booking of jockey Danny Tudhope is also very eye catching and as such the horse is taken to claim yet another course success.

The likes of top weight Another Angel and the Irish raider Pavlichenko look the most credible dangers but we hope are set to come up short.
