RACE PREVIEW & TIPS (WEDNESDAY)

I hate to seem unjust to the other four entrants but this well and truly looks like a two horse race.

Top weight Valcartier represents a yard who are going great guns and despite not finding the winners enclosure in his last six starts he seems to have ground and trip in his favour this afternoon.

His biggest worry comes in the form of the lightly raced Kaanoon who’s bagged two wins from only three career starts. The Roger Varian trained three year old looks to be on an upward curve but I hope the threat that Valcartier will pose will be too much to overcome.
