A class six handicap at Southwell sees a total of nine runners set to lineup, all of them three year olds.

There’s not much form to go off and I think it’d be fair to say any horse winning this won’t have to be a world beater to come out on top.

Top trainer Charlie Hills hasn’t bagged a winner this year but I’m hoping he claims his first of 2018 with Be Mindful. A much improved effort when finishing fifth after stepping up to todays one mile trip. A return to this distance should be beneficial as will the booking of top jockey Oisin Murphy.

The likes of Political Slot, Odds On Oli and Lady Jayne are viable contenders with decent all-weather form but a chance is taken on a horse that will hopefully be decent value.
