The opening contest at this evenings meeting from Chepstow provides the setting for our bet of the day. 

The ever consistent course winner Harry Beau looks set to go close once again. A drop in class at a venue he thrives should see him do well but the handicapper may have given him too much of a burden weight wise.

Wahaab claimed victory here last time and aims to make it back to back wins but with extra weight to carry for such a narrow success this is going to be much tougher.

The one I’m siding with is yet to claim a victory after ten career starts yet a sixth placed finish at Royal Ascot last year is very good form. Bustam’s best efforts have come over 7 furlongs (today’s trip) and on firmer ground so with conditions to suit and top jockey Oisin Murphy booked for the ride today could be the day Bustam finally gets his head in front.
