16:10 Catterick

A five furlong sprint at Catterick means a low number draw is a must and being given the plumb draw in stall 1 is a huge positive for the Tim Easterby trained Suitcase ‘N’ Taxi. The four year old unseated his rider at Pontefract in his last outing but that is a very rare occurrence for flat runners and is an unexpected blip that can be easily ignored. A drop back down to Class 5 company is a plus with a victory and a second placed effort from two starts over today’s trip and class. Now residing off just 1lb higher than his last winning mark he looks primed and ready for a big run, especially with in-form jockey David Allan booked for the ride.

Multiple course and distance winner Indian Pursuit commands respect but the draw may well be his undoing this afternoon.

The silent danger appears to be Lucky Beggar who now sits on a very attractive rating and with a former success at this venue looks the most likely to spring an upset against our selection.
