Kenny The Captain adores it here at Newcastle with three wins and three placed efforts from seven starts here. Trainer Tim Easterby has his stable doing well of late and with his seven year old now having 7lbs less weight to carry than his last course win he ticks a tonne of positive boxes that many of his rivals don’t.

Buccaneers Vault put in a much improved effort when returning to the all-weather at Kempton last time out and could go well at a decent price.
